For my two readers, I'll stop after this because who has time to spend reading web sites all day unless you're at work? Mark Souder has increasingly been raising my dander. He got into office on term limits and had since passed his own proposed quota. He may be from Grabill but he's been infected with Washington D.C. Not only did he vote for the superflous recent bailout bill but in the last session he only voted for 55% of the amendments that would have stopped pork. Things like $150,000 for the American Ballet Theatre in New York City for educational activities, $1,500,000 for the South Carolina Historically Black Colleges and Universities Science and Technology Initiative, $1,200,000 for projects related to the Southwestern Pennsylvania Heritage Route, $231,000 for the Abraham Lincoln National Airport Commission, $300,000 for the Houston Zoo, $2,000,000 for the "Paint Shield for Protecting People from Microbial Threats" and many others (full list here).

We vote thieves into office and wonder why they rob the bank.
