No, I'm not about to break into song but my head is churning with the rumblings of a new creation. This happens only about twice a year these days, contrasted with my late teen years when two songs a week was average. Giving birth to a ditty is an exciting but time consuming process that is immensely satisfying. Bear with me,
beloved... when birthing is going on you'll see me a tiny bit less but I'll be more enjoyable to be around.

What, no one commented on your song blog? Okay, I'll be the first.
Yes, much like the Holy Spirit, you hear the song, "but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going." (John 3:8) In that regard music composition is mysterious.
Personally, I believe the creative mind works like a blender. When it's over-filled and turned on it blasts smoothie all over your kitchen. [wait...um, that analogy isn't good]
The creative mind is like a fly, buzzing around landing in...
Alright, the creative mind is like double-sided tape. Everything sticks to it and you can't get it off your finger...
nevermind
As for me, I'm just glad to take 'em when they come.
In this case it's based on a 6/4 melody that's been knocking around my head for about a year. I've never done anything in 6/4 (or 13/3 for that matter) but it doesn't call attention to itself. So far there are no sampled and digitally modified animal noises but give it time.
